Issue
SUNY Albany looked to upgrade their legacy telephone system and to evaluate Unified Communications solutions available and choose an upgrade path to bring the University to a modern state of the art communications system.
Solution
ECC was the chosen consultant through the NYS Request for Proposal process. ECC managed the RFP process, including gathering the requirements, creating the RFP, and working with the University to manage the entire procurement process.
Outcome
A NYS OGS RFP evaluated several manufacturer solutions, with Cisco Unified Communications Manager solution selected. The Cisco solution includes Webex™ for audio-web conferencing for staff and students; and Cisco Customer Contact Center for call center groups.
