Issue
Lockport City School District launched a $7.5 million district wide technology and security project requiring pre-referendum planning, design, and clerking services.
Solution
ECC designed and project managed the installation of aVOIP Telephone system, replacement of cabling infrastructure, telecommunication closet improvements, wireless and network electronics upgrade with 10GE WAN and IP video systems and display devices. ECC also provide full time clerking services.
Outcome
Currently ECC is designing and administering a $4.5M Smart School program that includes extensive upgrades to the video surveillance system, including video analytics for facial and object recognition. The Smart School project also includes public address, lockdown-lockout, and mass notification improvements.
